We have moved in completely now, and the past weekend we spent cleaning the house. The last inhabitants didn't care much for cleaning it seems. I'm a little curious how they managed to get something
sticky all over one of the doors. The apartment was a terrible mess.
I have been thinking about the cons and pros about the new apartment. I was reluctant to move away
The view from the new place is way better than the view from my old place. There my windows were facing the backyard of a shopping center and its parking. Now we see a park and a market place and some old houses on the opposite side of it. The old place also had a balcony.
The new apartment is older than the last one. Or maybe it isn't, but then at least it's worse taken care of. It felt really bad replacing the fresh new place with the old shabby one.
And the mess! I was terrified when we came to the apartment for the first time after we had gotten the keys. I had little hope for the place to ever become anything I could call a a cozy home. But it turned out much better than I feared.
Our new apartment is also a few blocks further away from everything. Plus it's uphill to get there. That will irritate me a lot in the future. Uphill with the wind in my face...
The main reason why we moved was of course because we wanted to spend more time together. As it's now, we are together 24/7. I'm not even kidding. We practically lived together the last two months before we moved together. Sleepovers every night. People might say that it's not wise to do such big decisions with such a new relationship. Maybe not. But the way I see it we would have been "living together" anyway.
I don't care much of what others may think. I'm happy like this right now, come what may. Nobody knows what the future brings anyway.
